Dr. Rosanne Sprute, MD
Rosanne Sprute is a physician-scientist at the Department for Hematology, Oncology, and Infectious Diseases of the University Hospital Cologne, Germany. Based on this patient population, her translational research interest focuses on opportunistic infections including invasive fungal disease with rare and emerging fungi. She also has an interest in patients with chronic pulmonary aspergillosis.
She is investigator in phase II and III clinical trials evaluating novel drugs for infectious diseases and is involved in the development of medical guidelines at national and international level. She is a coordinating physician within the FungiScope® Team and is involved in the validation process as part of the quality control.
