Enrico Schalk is the head of the Hematology Diagnostic Laboratory in the Department of Hematology and Oncology, Magdeburg University Hospital and specialized in internal medicine, hematology and oncology. He is also interested in acute leukemias and lymphomas, and especially in infections in hematology. Among others, he is also an active member of the Infectious Diseases Working Party (AGIHO) of the German Society of Hematology and Medical Oncology (DGHO).
